Retreat Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 20 February 2025

1. Booking & Payment

  • A deposit of a specified amount (see respective brochure for details) is required at the time of booking to secure your place on HOLD Retreat.

  • Full payment must be made at least 40 days before the retreat start date.

  • Payments can be made securely through HOLD’s website via debit or credit card. BACS transfers are also possible by prior arrangement.

  • Payment plans - ie. spreading payments over monthly instalments - are available by prior arrangement.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations within 14 days of booking will be refunded.

  • Cancellations made 40 days or more before the retreat start date will receive a 50% refund, minus deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 40 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable.

  • In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, injury), we may allow for rescheduling at our discretion.

  • If we need to cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future retreat.

3. Health & Safety

  • Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations prior to booking.

  • By booking, you confirm that you are fit to participate and understand that participation is at your own risk.

  • We are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions that may arise during the retreat.

4. Travel & Insurance

  • Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat location, unless otherwise specified.

  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.

  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

5. Conduct & Respect

  • We foster a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the retreat without a refund.

  • Participants are expected to respect the retreat schedule, facilitators, and fellow attendees.

6. Changes to the Retreat Schedule

  • We reserve the right to modify the retreat schedule, instructors, or activities if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Any significant changes will be communicated as soon as possible.

7. Liability Waiver

  • By participating in the retreat, you acknowledge that yoga and wellness activities involve physical exertion and inherent risks.

  • You agree to release the retreat organisers and instructors from any liability related to injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the retreat.

8. Photography & Media

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the retreat for promotional purposes.

  • If you do not wish to be included in media content, please inform us in writing before the retreat begins.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
